retro board game 'ludo'
It is said that the fame Ludo is based on an ancient Indian game adapted by the British, with the first reference to "Ludo" appearing in the late 1800's.
This 'modern' version however, is based on the Ludo game from the 1920's.
The aim is to move the counters from the starting position to "home" in the centre of the board, by rolling the dice to advance on the track. The player who first gets four counters home is the winner.
